no.........incorrect............people who started surgery in the first week of february are ok because st. johns closed down AFTER THAT..............the people who started ob/gyn on march 15 are NOT ACCREDITED...........so current OB/gyn students are not greenbook..........

Did they say approximately how long it will take to make it green again?

I wonder how retaking a rotation at an ACGME-accredited hospital would affect this, i.e. whether the non-ACGME accredited rotation would stay on the transcript or be completely wiped clean from the record.

    Non ACGME

I was told that as long as the prgram is AOA accredited there wont be any potential problems for licensure. I also was worried about it and I wanted to replace the core with elective time but I was told I wouldn't be signed off on it. IMO, I paid for school I should have a right to pick and choose if I want to do the core or not. I feel uncomfortable doing an AOA surgery rotation, anyone know of the potential consequences?

There are consequences, but it depends on where you want to apply for a license for practice. Best bet is to stick with all green cores! Save yourself time, money and trouble and insist on this.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty: it's twice as big as it needs to be.
