advice regarding housing in east cleveland

    Advertisements

Huron Hospital is located in East Cleveland. Ive never been there. How is the area? I found an apartment bldg just a few mins from there but I dont know if I should take it. Should I live close to the hospital.. is it safe? Or should I get an apartment further away (if yes then where?). I dont know anything about Ohio or the cleveland area. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I have read that Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Shaker Heights are good places to live that are close to the hospital. You can even try Euclid and Willoughby Hills. There's this website called "City-Data" where you can find out what places are relatively safe or not. This holds true for any US city as well. I found a place that's a bit further away in Brooklyn, but the cost of this place for the quality outweighs the cost of driving.

go live in mayfield heights is a much much better area, its only a little bit farther down but you still will get to the hospital around 15min.

I lived in cleveland heights. It was 5-10 minutes from the hospital which made it great when i was doing my surgery rotation.Do NOT live in any place with an East cleveland address. The places mentioned by ********* are all nice and most importantly safe neighborhoods.
Well, he's had it in for me ever since I "kinda" ran over his dog. Actually, replace "kinda" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

Ya like a bullet through your temporal lobe. Stick with the places already mentioned they are all fine.

Long time Cleveland/NE Ohio area resdent here. The areas ********* mentioned are fine. Do NOT live in East Cleveland, under any circumstances.

Yeah, definitely do not live in East Cleveland. If anyone is looking for a place here is a link to an ad for a really good place in Mayfield Heights.
