anybody know which books are appropriate to study for:
    Family Medicine
    Internal Medicine
    Surgery
    Pediatrics
    Ob-Gyn
    Psych

especially for the shelf, quizzes, and midterms that we get during rotations...i would appreciate any insight at all...esp in preparation for Step 2 CK and CS

There are tons of choices, but many students use the Blueprints series. There is a book for every core, but I also used Surgery Recall, as the blueprints for that core was a little thin. And as always, First Aid for Step 2 CK and CS.
"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it."
