    Canadian students and fees

    Advertisements

I like everything I have read about St.George's...I'd almost say it was my first choice if not for the fees. 17500 something per year, I'll just go ahead and asume that is in American coin...(it is isn't it?) It's about 40000 per year to go to school and live on the island.

How are canadian students doing it? The most I can get is a 12 000 dollar loan.

I guess if it was in ECD everyone would be going!

    Best wishes everyone.

Another quick question to everyone considering becoming a DVM a little late in the game.

I decided to marry and start a family first. If I get started next year with SGU then I will be 36 years old when I've finished.

Does anyone think this might affect my employablity?

    Cost and age.

I know at first glance the coast of tuition can be a bit scary, but before lose hope, talk to one of our financial aid counselors. Not only can we help you cover the cost with loans, we do have scholarships available as well that couldlower your tuition costs.

As far as your age is concerned, it is really not a factor. We currently have a few vet students in their 40's and have several students graduate from us in their 30's who had no problems finding employment afterwards.

    Best wishes,
