One of the best things about SGU is student diversity. I was curious to see where we all got of recommendation letters?
Anyone turned down?
I have been planning on applying to veterinary school for quite a while now. I would like to know about the quality of the schools here. If someone could give me just the basics, it would be great.

I know you want to hear from current students and I'm sure some will respond so I will wait and let them tell you about some of our great professors and support services that we have.Originally Posted by Pippley
What I do want to mention is how well our vet graduates have been doing on the NAVLE, which is the national boards for all vets students to practice in North America. This past April, our graduates had a 98% pass rate on the exam and our overall pass rate from all of our grads combined taking the exam on their first attempt is 96%! I think that definitely shows the type of quality of education our students receive.
Best wishes!

Just to add to Jeffrey's post,
The deans of the various vet schools where students displaced by Ivan went were extremely impressed with the quality of the students from SGU.
I would definatly let an SGU grad treat any of my expensive broodmares or herd dogs.
I had rec letters from docs I worked for, both large and small animal.

I'll let you know in 3.5 years when I finish.
