    NO U.S. Accreditation

Can someone explain to me what exactly this MEANS? So if you attend SGU's Veterinary School you will not be able to work in the states? Or do you have to pass an additional exam to qualify for licensure in the states? Or perhaps this just means that SGU is not eligible for federal student funding? (I'm solely referring to their Veterinary program). OR maybe, all of the above? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just recently have begun looking into veterinary school and wanted to know the details on SGU's veterinary program/school.

    Thanks!

You can definitely work in the US or Canada. Yes, at this time, you have to pass an additional exam in able to obtain a license. See this post for some explanation on the current examinations. The information from the link should still mostly be true, but could be a little outdated.

SGU Vet school is not eligible for federal loans at this time (unless something has changed since I graduated). You have to get privately based loans...necessitating a certain credit score or a cosigner.

IF, SGU Vet gets AVMA accredited, both the licensing and loan situation will change (for the better).
