    Editing a submitted LOR

Can a letter writer change or revoke a letter of recommendation that has been submitted once they see your entire application when you apply for residency at their institution? A lady friend of mine is concerned about this and she only reads but doesn't post on here so I offered. She was not going to apply for residency at a hospital due to the fact that she had one failed class and didn't want her letter writers to see that and revoke her letter. Seems a little silly to me but I guess its possible. What say you guys?

Letters can be resubmitted - not edited - but once a program downloads and prints a letter, you cannot make them forget it.

I believe the question was if the letter writer can revoke or change the LoR. The answer is I highly doubt it, they can only upload the document once from my knowledge, but my knowledge is limited in these matters,
    MS I/II [x]
    Step 1 [x]
    MS III/IV [x]/[]
    Step 2 CS/CK - [x] / [x]
