    Freida question

    Advertisements

I'm looking through residency programs in Frieda and I was wondering why quite a few of the program I was looking at in neurology state "No" when asked "Will be accepting applications for 2012-2013." Some also state that they didn't accept applicants for 2011-2012 too. Do some programs not accept applicants every year? Maybe the programs don't update Freida? Does it mean there are issues with accreditation? Just wondering if anyone has any insight.

maybe it has something to do with "not accepting 1st year applications" if it's an advanced program (you know start as PGY2).

The aren't currently accepting applications for that year. Check back when the app year opens and it will change. Or at least that was how it was with the programs I was looking at.
