    Accomodation

Every where that I contacted is completely full for the 30th Dec. So does any one know of any guest houses for the 30th? Or should I change my ticket?

    Accomodation

I talking about accomodation in St. Maarten. Every where I'ved phone and e-mail was full for Dec 30th. These are accomodation in the $100-$175 range. Other places are $235 and up in the thousands. For me that is out of my range and I think it is extremely rediculous for 1 night.

    accomodation

Hey, if i were to be around dec 30 you could have stayed at my place (i live in a nice penthouse that overlooks your island). Anyways, my point (i rarely have one) is go to the AUC forum and put up a post. Tell them how many days you'll need to be accomodated and maybe someone who is stayin on the island can help you out.....no guarantees tho. Also there are some small hotels in the area and I cant imagine them all being taken. The dolphin or dauphin hotel something like that is a little hotel and i dont think anyone ever stays there bc i run by it.....its a little "alternative" but looks nice when i run by. Hope it helped

    INSIDE JOKE

Ok, I also need a hotel for the 1st. What do you mean alternative? Would it be unreasonable to look for a hotel at 11 or 12 at nite if I can't find one near the Edge dock before I go?

    accomodation

alternative is the most politically correct way of saying gay owned/operated (not that theres anything wrong with ithat).....that i could come up with. If you guys want numbers for the hotels, i can see if i can get any. Also i would not suggest trying to find a hotel at 11 or 12 at night. Unlike Saba, there is crime on SXM....quite a bit lately and the airport really isnt a place you can sit in all night (too many mosquitos)...let alone you're a pretty easy target wandering around with luggage. My suggestion would be to post something on AUCs forum (we're nice people, sometimes) or get a hotel room and cram others that are in the same situation into it also. As for hotels "near" the aiport I can think of TravelInn, Maho Resort, Dauphin, and one other that I cant remember the name....those are within a few miles.....besides Dauphin and Maho (which looks nice at least) i would stay with familiar sounding hotels.....i have travelled the ghetto parts of the island and there are hotels there too but i wouldnt ever stay there.

    where to stay

    Swim guy,
Thanks! I also found some more near the warf. Here are their websites for those that need them.According to the person I talked to, the most popular and affordable spot is probably Travel Inn.Unfortunately it's high season so they are all quite expensive. I'll take your advice and find something before I go.

    Pelican Resort www.pelicanresort.com

Sunterra Flamingo & Sunterra Royal Palm www.sunterra.com

    La Vista www.lavistaresort.com

    Atrium www.atrium-resort.com

    Mary’s Boon www.marysboon.com

    Travel Inn www.travelinnhotel.com

    Turquoise Shell Inn www.tshellinn.com

    Accomodation in SXM

I am also arriving in SXM on Jan 1st, and would like accomodation...I wonder whether these hotels' rates are to be shared if two people decide to share a room. So anybody arriving in SXM on Jan 1st and would like to share a room plus its costs? I shall be arriving in SXM earlier, around 2 or 4pm...so kindly pm me so we can arrange these. These hotel rates are too expensive for ome individual. Thanks.

    Polopiach.
