Hello everyone,

I am giving real thought to applying to Saba, but, am very concerned about the ability to get student loans. I am aware that there is the Richland Program, but, I took a look at the Sallie Mae webswite and came across the private loan section, which states; (under the "Smart Option" loan on the Sallie Mae website)

"You must attend an eligible school and be enrolled in an eligible program. U.S. citizens enrolled in eligible study abroad programs or studying at medical schools outside the United States are also eligible. International students are eligible with a creditworthy cosigner (who must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident) and appropriate U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service documentation. You must meet current credit and other eligibility criteria."

Ok, so, not to be obtuse, but, does this include Saba? I am aware they have applied for Title IV status, but, I don't know if that would be a requirement for this loan.

I apologize for asking a question, which has probably been asked and anwered, but, I also appreciate any insight.

Cheers.
