Does Ed-Invest have a standard credit score requirement for students seeking a loan without a co-signer?

    Credit Score

Yes, they use your Trans Union Fico score and the requirements to be eligible for the loan use to be 650 and above. However, they have recently raised this requirement to a score of 700 and above for one to qualify for the Ed-Invest student loans.

if you dont have credit score of atleast 700 and no one to co sign, you will have to find other ways to finance your education.

I am planning on sending in my loan application very soon. Last I checked, my credit score was good enough to get the loan without a cosigner. However, if for some reason it drops below 700 I guess I will not be able to get the loan on my own.

My question is this: Will I still have enough time to fill out another application and add my parents as a cosigner? Thanks in advance.

FYI for anyone with the same question, I called Saba today and they told me that I would have enough time to re-apply for the Ed-Invest loan with a cosigner if I did get rejected. Hope this helps someone.
