Schools with 3 yrs English and 3 years Russian

    Advertisements

If anyone knows all/some of the schools in Russia that have 3 years in English and then 3 years in Russian I would really like to know. Although I don't speak Russian I believe I am up to the challenge of becoming proficient in 3 years. Thanks anyone for any info you might have in this area.

That is definitely is an option I'm looking at but doing half of the program in Russian really intrigues me. If anyone else has any info I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    sugg

for three years english and the next 3 years russian try the following schools:
    Moscow Medical Academy
Moscow State University, Faculty of Medicine
St Petersburg State Univ, Faculty of Medicine

but it will be better if u study full course in english in Russia because in 3 years u ll learn enough russian to exchange ideas ,intract with patients , n exchanging slangs but studying medicine is a diffrent thing.....why would u spend ur valuable time in studying a diffrent language...u better devote that time in learning medicine.....
following schools offer 6 years english medium Medicine course and i think that the schools are better than the others
1 Peoples friendship University(PFU)(5500usd PER ANNUM)
2 St Petersburg State Medical University (Pavlov) (4000USD per annum)
3 St Petersburg State Medical Academy (Mechnikov)(3600USD per annum)
4 Kursk State Medical University (3300 USD per annum)
3rd Year MD Student (Gen Medicine)
    6 Year English Medium Programme
    St Petersburg, Russia

Thanks again tintin. Good point about extra time for studying medicine. I'll take a look at those schools you mentioned.

3 years english and 3 years russian med schools

    Hi,
My son is at Russia State Medical University (RSMU). I understand that only 2 schools in Russia are on the WHO list of top schools worldwide ie. Moscow Medical Academy and RSMU. Both start with 3 years in English and then 3 years in Russian. Accomodation is bad but close to the school.
    Good luck.
