If you want to work as a physician in Russia, it is probably the very best place to study medicine in the whole, wide world.

If you want to work elsewhere, however... that answer changes somewhat.

    1) Yes, the average salary for Russian physicians (indeed, throughout most of the East Bloc countries) is very low.
    2) NONE of the English-language medical programs in Russia are approved in California, nor in any of the states that follow the California Medical Board list. The Russian-language programs, however, are approved. The Russian diploma may or may not be accepted in Europe, there is no policy for the acceptance of non-EU diplomas. The results could vary considerably from country to country.
    3) It is (potentially) possible to practice in some parts of the US and EU with a Russian medical diploma, but you would have to jump through a lot of hoops to get there, and absolutely nothing is guaranteed. I don't know about Australia, but I am pretty sure that it is similar.
    4) If you want to work in W-EU, then you should absolutely attend an EU medical school. At least then your medical diploma is automatically accepted throughout the EU. HOWEVER, because of immigration laws, if you are not an EU/UK/EEA citizen you will still NOT be able to work in many EU countries (the UK, France, most of Switzerland, Holland, etc.). The acceptance of your medical credentials does not mean that you are given a free pass through the immigration requirements of the country, and these laws still vary even within the EU.
    5) If you want to work in W-EU, you will need to speak the language of the country where you want to work, and you will need to be able to get a visa to work there. You apparently speak English ("tnkew?" - "dat?" - "xualy?"), but the UK is out of the question if you are not an EU/UK/EEA citizen, so you will likely need to learn another W-EU language (if you do not speak one already).
