    Hi,
Good choice! Cool uni. I ve just picked it up from Google: Currently, SSMU has a strong reputation as one of the leading medical schools of the Russian Federation. Evidence of this is to preserve, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, since 2002 the leading positions (4-5 place) in the ranking of medical schools. In 2009, SSMU has become the only medical institution, were among the finalists for the assignment status of a national research university.
    Fees:
Degrees Offered (fees for foreign students):
Medical Doctor (MD) (6 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Medical Doctor — Pediatrician (MD) (6 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Master of Pharmacy (5 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Doctor–Biochemist (6 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Doctor–Biophysicist (6 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Doctor–Cyberneticist (6 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Economist–Manager in Health Care (5 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Medical Nurse with Higher Education (4 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Candidate of Medical Science (Ph.D. program) tuition fee US $ 2.500 per year
Doctor of Medical Science (D.M.Sc. program) tuition US $ 2.500 per year
Economist–Manager in Health Care (5 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Clinical Psychologist (5 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year
Social Worker (5 years) tuition fee US $ 1.800 per year

I have no idea about living cost, but not too much compared to Moscow

I think that uni would real good for you as currently they have about 5 students from abroad. You will be treated well good there like a hero just because only few foreigners study there. People from that part of Russia are best I ever met. I have been to that part of Russia 3 times and it was unforgettable experience.

    Good luck
