Hello
I was thinking about russian medium MD at Mordovia State University, or possibly rus medium at Ryazan or Volgograd. Anyone know anything about this medical academy? All I know is it's WHO recognised (http ://avicenna.ku. dk/database/who_directory/)Comments would be greatly appreciated.

this university is cheapest in Russian federation. International students are studying since 1995. Now here are almost 85 international students from different countries.
University,s hostel is very good and cheap. One or two students are living in Room. Another hostel especially for international students is under construction and in next year will be available for residence.
International office staff is very cooperative with students.
There was medical faculty till 2007 and now it has a medical institute status. It means there will be more funding for improvement of quality. there are 13 multi discipline teaching hospitals in City Saransk attached with medical institute.
University offers MD ( MBBS ) program in Russian medium only. because in Russia ordinary people only speak Russian language. University has highly qualified department of Russian language teaching faculty. Which offers different duration Russian language courses for international students.
FEE STRUCTURE : 2008/2009 is 2400 usd with hostel/year
language course : 1600 usd for whole course with accomodation.
