Trying to find 1 month elective in St. Petersburg, Russia

    Advertisements

    Hey guys

I'm doing my medical training as a resident from N. America.

I want to do a 1 month elective in Nov/Dec in a Russian university pref. St. Petersburg or American/British clinic that speaks English. (St. Petersburg since it's not as cold in winter as Moscow, and also because costs are a lot lower?)

I emailed all American the clinics I could find. The British-American one has closed down its website.

I also emailed all the Russian universities with English instruction in St. Petersburg.

I am shocked to find that not a single one of the 7 email addresses I messaged has responded to me.

Can anyone help me? If St. Petersburg doesn't welcome foreign elective students, then I might have to look at Poland or Czech Republic or Kazakhstan as I'm interested in that region.

    Thanks.
