    lol

are you serious? you mean you can't live without that stuff? you've got to be kidding! (anyone hear of CAD?)...

Well, on the island there is a KFC, it is a 1-2 hr bus ride from the campus. I've heard that's it closed, but someone on the island can update us on it's current status....

I had it once a few years ago when i was on the island...and yes....got sick after eating it. yuck! never again.....not even in the US did I eat it.

On the island you will find the BBQ version of chicken and other tasty alternatives of the famed bird...

good luck...if you really can't live without it, don't go to the island!

    A.

we do have popeyes. But it's the dominican version.

    It's called James (greasy) Chicken.

We also have Pizza Hut and Burger King. Again, the dominican version.

    enjoy.

    food

if you have specific foods that you crave, bring them with you. things are scarce/inconvenient to prepare. if we all had hours everyday to cook, then no one would complain about the food. everything here is basic. rice, beans, chicken. no sushi, no delis, no fast food besides "the shacks" and perkey's. many people still occasionally get diarrhea from the shacks.
you'll see why once you get here. make sure you get your hep A vaccine

    Fast Food

There are currently zero fast food chains here. But!!!!!!!!, I went to the study body meeting last week and the Dean said that Ross was currently negotiating with "a U.S. fast food chain" to have them come to the island and put one of thier restraunts on campus. The Dean refused to comment on the subject any further saying that the negotiations were still in the primitive phase and nothing was concrete yet. So as to which fast food chain it is, who knows

Don't forget Subway (across campus), Olive Garden Italian Restaurant (next to Walgreens), Starbucks (on-campus), tons of Panda Express, and an IHOP (as you make your way down to the food courts, next to the sewer)
