I read the following at the bottom of the Ross website: "Ross University has the distinction of having placed more graduates into first year residency positions in 2002 than any other school in the world, including U.S. medical schools."

Does this mean Ross has larger classes (or more students graduating per year) than SGU and AUC?

    more students

Ross has more students because it has three starting dates Sept, Jan, and May. SGU only has two calsses and not sure of AUC.
When you become my age you will realize all of the hard work and studying was worth the effort.

    Re: class size

Ross has three classes per year.
SGU has two classes per year - each are larger than any class at Ross (from what I've read on their forum).
AUC has three classes but far fewer students in each.

By the way, if that quote was about 2002, then I'm sure its even more dramatic of a dominance in 2003 and 2004. Back in 2002, the graduating classes were still quite small (entering classes were much smaller).

    Class size

    Hey guys.

It is now being considered to split anatomy between semester 1 and 2. They are looking at doing this next semester due to the fact that the current 1st semester is quite small (~180) and apparently the incoming class is small as well. Therefore the lab could handle both classes. They are doing away with DPS. My question is.....if this occurs, are they aniticipating that ALL the future classes will be smaller? If so, I sense an extreme hike in the tuition. What do you guys think about this?

    hey

I would have to think that they might not be able to keep these split classes up. I heard the September's class is almost full and they are over 250. If this is the case then sept will have 300 something and may has 180 or so, how can they hold all of us???? Oh well i guess we will find out soon.

    bye bye DPS?

Oh no! That class is the best GPA booster for you guys! I thought it was a fun intro to Behavioral Science...maybe it's just too time consuming...oh well, best of luck!
