    numbers can be misleading

    SSman:

I am sure Ross had many more then the 143 residency placements shown on the website. The information is obtained from students who reply not from any official residency website. If anyone has additional insight into why SGU has more residencies then Ross even though Ross has more students please let us know. Maybe some Officisl from Ross Administration can answer this question. Obviously having the most updated information on the Ross website will help with recruitment.
When you become my age you will realize all of the hard work and studying was worth the effort.
"60 years young" another 60 to go if my doctor sons keep me alive with free prescriptions!!

    List

Ross is really lazy when it comes to listing residency positions. I personally know two ER matches last year that are not listed. One of these ER matches said they sent their match data, and is still not listed....almost a year later. There are others who just dont send the info back to ROss.

"Well, first off... nice effort! I'm sure that was a lot of work and many people will appreciate what you did.

The only caveat I would add is that, going to Ross, I know that reporting to the school where you get accepted to your residency is not mandatory thing. I know of many people last year who got into programs that do not show up on that list. One, in fact, got med-peds.

So, while I think this gives a nice general consensus about where you're likely to end up, I wouldn't put 100% creedence in the numbers you got. Likewise, it's equally important to look at where those appointments were (i.e., rural vs. community vs. university).

    Still, nice job!

    bad numbers

as I posted on the cross posted one, my class(2 years ago) had only about 30 to 40% of the placements reported.
