Is ross still on the trimester schedule or are they doing two semesters per year?

How is the program at ross? When comparing the program b/w ross and sgu, it seems that sgu provides more courses and more weeks per semester (more credits and core clerkship time) that will better prepare the students. Do you feel that this is true?

What does the advanced intro to clinical medicine teach?

please clarify, trying to make a decision on which school to attend!

Ross has 3 semesters a year. The total is 4 semesters (16 months) on the island then you will be in Miami to do 5th semester.

you mentioned ross has 3 semesters a year and you are there for 4 semesters and miami the 5th. Do you mean 3 admission periods? I'm not sure what you mean. So, are you on the island for 4 semesters (15 weeks each) totaling 16 months with some time in between semesters?

Correct. There are three separate admissions periods on the island: January, May, and September. Each semester is approximately 15 weeks and you get about 2 weeks between semesters off. Most students travel back to the States over the break. The total basic science portion here on Dominica works out to about 16 months (four semesters). Then the fifth semester in Miami is 12-weeks (it was originally 9 but we were told they are changing it to implement the 12-week program as a requirement now).

I am not painting a picture that Ross is a garden of eden but many things they say make no sense or are out and out lies.
