Are you coming to visit the campus or visiting the island?

Campus- stay at PBH. Its not the Hiltons but its 2-3 minutes walking distance from the campus. What exactly are you coming here to see? Its just bunch of classrooms, apartment building and stores. Im a 1st semester student here. I barely get to see anything other than the library.
Island- Pague Bay looked good. The island has a lot of natural things.

I want to do both. I'm planning to apply for may admission and I would like to see the potential places that I would be staying at if I get accepted. On a side note I would also like to do a couple of touristy things as well after I have done my reconnaissance of the place

Alright then. Portsmouth Beach hotel is a good option since it literally next to the campus (and the beach). I actually live there, so give them a call if you wish. There are couple of other hotels, which I dont know too much about. Most of the buildings here are apartment buildings. Before you come, make sure you have the contacts of landlords that you wish to talk to. As far as tourist excursions, there are abundant of things to do. Your hotel folks would be great resources for that. They will help you find guides and such. As far as admission, apply as soon as possible. The last thing you want is to waste a semester.

    Hope the info helps.

The beach cottages are for vacation goers but there may be students there as well. They are small cottages right on the beach and they might be much more expensive I think. But as far as your question, I do not have any experience in regards to them.

If it's not too much trouble can you give me a listing of the top 4 housing places to check out when I visit? I am attending the Houston information seminar in Houston in the 22nd so i am going to ask the same question there, however I want to have the opinion of someone that's there in the trenches at the moment.

Oh should I also bring a portable power converter if I'm staying there at PBH?

Are you shopping for homes before applying for this May class? Kinda odd... But okay. Im in that class and it is currently filling up each week or so with new members on Facebook. If you are applying... Just know that you have 2.5 months left to get your paperwork and personal life in order. If you are... I have a friend who is currently at Ross who recommended NEW Avies apartment on banana trail. Many people on this forum and sdn told me to look on LIZARDS trail. I will also attend the meet and greet reception this 22ND in Houston. See you there .
