    Best Ross housing?

    Advertisements

Hey guys what is the best place to live at near Ross (if price didn't matter)? I just want to know some of the nicest homes/apartments/condos that are available in the area. Anything even remotely comparable to a nicer apartment in the US? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I personally liked New Avies, some ppl have had poor experience with owners I have not. This had decent location near Tomato and about 8-10 min walk to campus. There was another luxury place near campus on Lizard Trail that was $990/month, hardwood floors, etc that was right next to the campus center I forget the name now. Nice part about New Avies is they have Fiber Optic Internet available and with that, laundry, cable, and rent you pay about $800/mo as of now.

Kootney is nice, but it's down Moo Cow Trail which is a little bit of a walk from main campus. As a 1st semester it's close to your classroom but after that it's a little removed. Also for women I wouldn't recommend it. That's my personal recommendation, but remember n=1 here. I will say they were very nice inside.

I lived at Kootney from the end of 1st all the way through 4th and would greatly recommend it, despite that it is a bit longer of a walk that some other places.

Additionally, I have not had any problems walking down Moo Cow. I recommend personal safety for anyone at any location (2nd semester we had most of the attacks on Lizard Trail, 3rd most of the problems were on Banana Trail. It seems to cycle).
The good thing about Kootney is a great sense of family there, and in fact, many of the students walk to classes together and on occasion the landlord has given rides.

It is a lot of personal preference, but I loved it there and wish I would have moved there right away in 1st.

X2 chateau de klens. Some people say it's a "long walk", but it's the same distance from campus, as the Barn.. just with one little hill, PLUS theres a morning shuttle.
the ownerre the nicest people you'll ever meet. great people

If price isn't a factor, I hear very good things about Flamboyant apartment. It is close to U.S. style/ quality

Dude you should live at one of those weird little apartments on top of james store. They are across from campus and mad cheap, and James store has the freshest products so you wouldnt have to travel far for groceries
