    Was Step 1 easy?

    Advertisements

Hey, for those of you that already did the step 1 and received your scores, did you find it easy? Was it pretty similar to all the practice questions you did.. and does the content on the exam correlate to what we've been learning in our first 5 semesters? Or was there some *** moments on the exam where you didn't really know what they're talking about?

More importantly, when you study for the step, do you need to supplement and add any new material in addition to what we already learn for the first 5 semesters at Ross? If you're getting like around a 3.50-4.00 GPA in the basic sciences, does that mean you can just review your notes, do some questions and you're pretty much set? Or do you still need to learn additional information that we did not learn at Ross?

I hear some people getting all these books and all that but are those for the people who didn't really do that well in the basic sciences? or do you guys think everyone still needs to use supplementary material in order to still learn some things Ross didn't teach?

    Thanks

There is always a need for supplementation. I feel that Ross doesn't teach us everything, and I know they teach us stuff that isn't on the Step.

No matter how high you score, no Step should be "easy"

Step 3 is not easy. If you don't study you will fail it.

I took Step 1 back in 2003. From memory, about 50% of the questions were read-and-click. Meaning as soon as I read it I was 90% sure I knew the answer. About 30% of the questions I could narrow to 2 answers and then make an educated guess. And the other 20% I literally had to guess. I got a 203.
