can't double speed, get parallels and a copy of XP and you're good to go.

Lots of students have Macs and there are some negatives, but I wouldn't trade my mac and plus you can watch them at the campus if you want to watch them at 2x speed. I would recommend getting bootcamp so you can run windows that's what a few students have done

I'm def sticking with my MBP. Not going back to PC. Keep us updated on any specific apps that will run well. MBPs can take notes on PDF Powerpoint Handouts for at least a year now, so thats how wrote notes for BIOCHEM and Human Phys back in College.

**Buy** (Can't promote illegal acts here) Parallels and get yourself a **legal** copy of Windows 7 or XP (I recommend XP... takes up less space and runs faster than 7... you really don't need the bells and whistles of 7 to just mediasite).

I recommend Parallels over Fusion. I have both and Parallels is much more user friendly IMHO. Also... don't waste your time with BootCamp... Why would you install it with bootcamp when you can just run it in a window in Parallels? Just get Parallels and a copy of Windows and you're set.
