Step 1 passing score went up to 188

I didn't see anyone post this. But I guess the boards decided to bump up the score 3 points.

Hopefully Ross will follow suit and increase the MPS for the COMP.

Its funny because a passing score on the step really doesn't guarantee you ANYTHING in terms of trying to get into a residency program. Ross should increase the COMP MPS to match the Step passing rate. If you set standards higher (?) the students will follow suit

There is no point in updating the score for the COMP MPS....it would go from a 64 to a 65 ....and I don't think they give 65s

Hmm really? I got a 75 but you still might be right though b/c I'm not sure about how they correlate step 1 MPS to COMP MPS. My point was just that the COMP should be reflective of the actual exam even if it is a 1 point change.

If you only scored a 75 I suggest you take a good amount of time studying for the step if you want to get a decent score....
