Actually you can not double spend on the OSx system, BUT if you use bootcamp, Vmware Fusion, or Parallel and install Windows XP you can double speed on mediasite. I know this because I did it on my Mac and on my friend's mac. If you are in 1st term see me in Annex (PM me for my number). As for off campus, no you cannot mediasite unless in Pace (yea I know, it sucks )

I have always been saying tht Mac's suck...And infact they do...Can't 2X on tht...Wht's the point of mediasiting then...Just go to class...

As far as media site @ home without being in PAcE...Stay very close to the school...If possible just outside the school... Tht way you can catch the rumed network and mediasite !

Hey guys, forgive me, but I don't know too much about this bootcamp/parallel thing you're talking about. I just got a mac a couple weeks ago. So are you saying the only way I can double speed is if I purchase Windows? Or is there a way around this?

    Thanks!

So you spend pretty much around a $1000 Bucks for that mac, for which you could have got a great windows laptop...

Now spend couple of hundreds more to get a windows version on tht mac...so you can 2X on mediasite !

Nah, I'm very satisfied with my mac, and the ability to double speed on Mediasite would not have hindered my decision to purchase it. But I was just wondering if there is any other way to double speed without purchasing Windows OS?
