    Pots, pans, and linens?

    Advertisements

    Hey guys.

Do you think we need to take pots, pans, and bed linens with us? Or do most apartments already supply those?

You should bring your own bed linens. Don't worry about a comforter, it NEVER gets that cool in Dominica. Some apartments have pots and pans, others don't. However, you can buy them in Dominica.

    comforters

in the winter, it does get cool enough in some apartments (breeze) to use one. i have yet to find a comforter for my bed in dominica. if you have room bring it and just have it to cover your bed. my motto is, if you have room or a barrel bring anything you can fathom. it is expensive here and it is better to save all the ECs you can.

    blanket

dont bother with a comforter. if you're cold one night ... well ... enjoy it beacuse you're not going to be cold again for a long time. I brought one down and ended up having to lug it home without ever having unpacked it. You're better off using the room in your luggage for food.

    Re:

most places supply kitchen supplies, but bring hangers they are very expensive here. also you need to bring your own sheets and pillows b/c the ones they give you can be quite nasty. oh, bring a laundry bag too.
