    AMCAS Calc v4

    Advertisements

I have a question about the AMCAS calculator. In the column "Enter Number of Unit Hours on Transcript", do I enter the number of hours of the class or the number of credits of the class?

This is how my transcript looks like:

    Course - Bio XXX
    Description - Foundation of Bio...
    Grade -W
    Credits - X
    Equated Credits - Y
    Hours - Z

I tried using both hours and credits but I'm not really sure which one I'm suppose to use.

    Thank You

They mean credit hours, i.e. number of credits, not hwo many hours you spend in class.

Are you talking about undergrad courses and transcript...or Medical School?

it means credit hours, based on a semester system. I had to convert mine from the quarter system to the semester system.
