If you fail COMP 3 times, what other medical school can you tranfer into without having to start from 1st semester??? Will you get accepted into another med school if your record says dismissed, b/c schools like SABA don't accept students with dismissal on their record?

St James, Xavier, Windsor, St Eu. & St Martinious - no questions asked just pay your application fees.

St Matt's, AUA (but it will be harder than Ross and a better), MUA-N, They will ask questions. See below!

Try AUC and SGU if you just did not like the Ross method of testing.

The question you have to ask yourself:
Why did you blow it? Can I fix it myself or do I need a professional education counselor to help me fix my issues? Is it motivation?

The questions the schools will want to know:
How do you plan to fix your educational issues? What in your opinion caused your failure?

I call it like I see it. I am not paid by ValueMD or any school. Nor do I recruit for any school.

AUA, St Matt's, and MUA-N have NY approval. Maybe Windsor and Spartan. Do your research! I maybe a mod but when I post like this - am just another poster. Things change. I don't keep up on State approvals. Not my area of expertise. We have other forums for those issues.

If you want to do something, then you will find a way.
If you want to do nothing, then you will find an excuse.

Are you saying AUA is a harder and better school that Ross lol? AUA? My classmates at Ross fail out here and succeed there...I doubt AUA is more difficult lol. Going to AUA from Ross means the bar was lowered for you.

I think it's the other way around. I'm not sure about AUA, but MUA's minimum pass score is 70% vs. Ross (what, 60-65%?).

Ok, this is just what I have heard from say ten people or so who did Ross and then AUA. One I know totally flunked out at AUA and is now at Windsor. She said AUA was much harder than Ross. Generally they say the lectures are better at AUA, you have a different exam structure (no mini's). Each prof does their own exam at AUA. At AUA you get more help from the profs and TA's if you ask for it.

When AUA started - they were founded/started by some of the best profs at Ross when Ross sold out to the current owners. This is what I heard from the first class of students at AUA.

Since I have not been to either school - I am just reporting what I have heard. You have to realize some people do better at different schools than other schools. Learning is a very subjective thing!

Antigua is a nicer island with better shopping than Dumpenica. That I have seen. Generally most students do better when they are in a comfortable environment.

MPS b/w Ross and AUA is apples to oranges. MPS means nothing when the questions are completely different (i.e. easier). If you have failed out of one school and became a superstar at another, odds are that the second was just easier...why is it so hard to follow the logic?
