    Ross Regrets ?

    Advertisements

I was wondering if any current Ross students, who were accepted to SGU and/or AUC, have any regrets about their decision to go to Ross and not either of the other two? I searched the threads and couldn't find anything. I know there are comparisons on tuition, living conditions. etc, but what about a perspective from someone attending there, please. Is it what you expected ?

I regret some of the anatomy lectures, but apparently that will be taken care of soon. Also, the food... I'm sure SGU has better food than us.

I'm not sure about the actual island life though. Here at Dominica I have been robbed twice, acosted by locals, threatened to be "sprayed" (shot), and screamed at by a naked man in the jungle. I've also become used to the idea of never having a solid turd again. But I wouldn't say I "regret" anything

tbh i wish i'd gone to SGU, seems like things happen more like clockwork over there verses at ross.
If you want to do something, then you will find a way.
If you want to do nothing, then you will find an excuse.

There's a couple relative current threads where students have posted.

Here's a link to one of them. http://www.valuemd.com/ross-universi...ion-spots.html

    Success not Regret!!!

As a fourth year student almost finished and graduating in June, I can say that Ross has been a great school for getting the MD degree.
Ross is well known and taken seriously by faculty and staff of every hospital I rotated through and have applied for in the Match.
    What more can I say???

If you have a full-paid scholarship to Harvard or even SGU take it, but I didn't and Ross turned out great for me. I remember my fears of the "UNKNOWN" but I can also say now that I know and have done it go to Ross or SGU if you choose-just get it done!!!

Best of luck and think positive!!!
