    Neuro Shelf Exam

    Advertisements

    Hi Guys,

I am really stressed about the neuro shelf and I wanted to know if it is possible to get like a 60-65 on the shelf. And, also if you guys have any suggestions about how to study for it..that would be great...thanks a lot

Just curious, where are you taking your neurology elective? I know there are some good neurology textbooks out there like Lange Clinical Neurology, and Neurology Case Files, plus usmleworld has a neurology section. . . Good Luck!

It is definitely possible to get that score. I did really well in the class and studied first aid and had no problems scoring in the 70's. The test is hard, just do your best!

    true story

A guy I know in my class (4th semester) literally answered all B's on the Histo shelf and got a 53. 60 to 65 is possible on any shelf but don't take it for granted. Be sure to study the brachial plexus as there are several questions for this on the neuro. At least there was when I took it.

Don't try putting all B's, they're on to that now. I know someone the semester afterwards who tried that. They called him in, made him write out an explanation, and then gave him a zero for good measure.
