    Weight Restriction?

    Advertisements

Ive been using the search option alot and while doing this I came across an old post where a user stated that you only have to follow your first flights weight restriction...Im finding this hard to believe. For example:

Im taking Jet Blue and then Liat this user was saying that I would only have to follow Jet Blues weight restrictions since I am taking them first and not Liats ( one 50lb bag). Is this really true? Jet Blue and Liat have no association with eachother so I didnt think my luggage would even be checked all the way through.

obviously i would be sooo happy if it was true but im skeptical!!!

If there is no agreement between the airlines and your baggage is not checked all the way through form your first flight then you must follow the weight restricitons of the flight to Dominica, which is 50 pounds on Liat and 70 pounds on american airlines.
