    How long is the wait?

    Advertisements

Does anyone here know how long the wait is to hear back from ROSS after you have sent in you application?

Either to hear you got rejected or you got an interview?

I sent in my application about 5 weeks ago and still have not heard a thing. I called them up twice already and each time they confirmed that they have my application already and they have received everything. The last time, I was told that my app would be processed in a week. I still haven't heard a thing. This is killing me!

So any word from you folks would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm applying for Sept07 entry.

    Thanks,

    its tough

    i know the feeling.

but i got mine in for may 07 in first week of jan and had my interview feb6th. i found out 10 days later that i got in.

Im sure they are getting may's class ready and are slower for sept since its a more competitve class, or so ive read.

I'd give them another week. id call once a week till you find out something. Ms janet at the miami office is good about telling you whats up. that is if you will be interviewing in miami.

if your gpa is above a 2.88, you should at least get an interview. try to be patient when you call and just say "im checking on the status of my application". that way you come across just needing an update.

pm me if you have other ?s or need to vent.
    this too shall pass.lol

    clerical error!

Ok...so I call up the office on Friday and they said my application has been processed but I am missing some information. I told them that I was told that they had everything. The guy on the other end of the phone checked again and he said that they made a mistake. I was correct and everything in my application was in order.

I'm to call them on Monday to sort things out. So, we'll see if I get an interview or not.

Thanks to all of you for the information by the way! It helps to keep an eye on your application and call them up to check on it. Mistakes do happen and I guess they are dealing with a high volume of applications and inquiries.

    Wish me luck!

yea the same thing happened to me with Saba, my LORS were mailed a week apart from my application and when I called them they said they are missing LOR's, well like 1 month later I called them and still saem thing! so I asked them could they look into it and behold, it was placed in a different folder!
GOod news, I got an interview but it delayed the process by a solid month which might hinder my chances of being accepted as they fill up.

You will still be able to borrow the full amount needed and recieve it on time as long as you do it by Junish. I had gotten all of my FAFSA info in during July '06 for Sept '06 and it was just 3 weeks late getting to the island. It should not affect your ability to enroll at Ross if you fill out FAFSA late, just your ability to recieve the funds in a timely manner upon arrival.
