Are grads from Ross eligible to practice in Dominica or other Caribbean islands?

I think it's retarded if Ross grad can't practice in Dominica.

i should have been clearer in my last post. what i meant was are non-Dominica citizens who graduate from Ross eligible to practice in Dominica?

what about other Caribbean islands? does graduating from a Caribbean school in one island make you eligible to practice in other islands too? kind of like how graduating from a med school in a U.S. state makes you eligible to practice in any U.S. state.

the degree is good anywhere. my class was told by the old PM of dominica that we were welcome to practice there, and could even apply for citizenship if we wished.

    yes

Yes, you can (for both questions). There aren't many docs. on the island and they always welcome new ones as long as you have the proper creditation and training.

what an amazing treat to be able to practice in dominica...i think it wouldbe almost as good as practicing in rawanda, mongolia, siberia, and the central african republic.

I'm having a bit of a hard time trying to understand how sukhtinder can disparage someone for showing interest in practicing in underserved areas of the world. Maybe he feels the deprived and destitute of beverly hills are losing the MDs they're entitled to to the rich and inconsiderate of the developing world.

Have you even been to Dominica or even go to Ross? Now why on earth would you spend over 200 grand to go to school, out of that money comes the yearly scholerships that go to locals to go to Ross and practice in Dominica THEN go back to a place that isnt really the most hospitable places in the world and pay off your debt while making less than what is considered minimum wage in the states.
Well, now that I is sittin here thinking about it with my head all up in the clouds-it makes perfect sense. If you wants to find out just how easy it is to work and live in Dominica, walk across the street to Can-Cuts and ask her. And if you think that bein a doctor down there you get more respect than a banana farmer, well, just wait till you gots to do yo field trip to princess margret hospital, and see just how much respect you get.
Come back down here to planet earth Gee-gee.

    WORD.
Im jumpin around and screamin makin a certain home girl 'round here real uncomfortable
