Only been here a couple of days but so far I've been very impressed. It is on the pricey side compared to other places, 900+ for a 1 bdr, but you do get what you pay for. The landlady has been extremely helpful, gave us phones, a tour, and took us grocery shopping. She also has given us many recommendations for reliable people and businesses in the area. The complex is actually a series of nicely maintained and fairly updated 1 bedroom duplexes and then 2 bedroom stand alones. A very lush surrounding with fruit trees right outside to pick from and the river runs along side of the complex (you can constantly here the running water in the bedroom , which I really enjoy). Imagine a campground with cottages in the middle of a rainforest and that could sum it up. The bathroom has a extremely large shower and the internet has a decent speed. It's about a 10 minute trek to Ross, but only 5 to the annex. Down sides are the price obviously, and it's a tad of the beaten path so that could be a concern for walking home at night, but they do have a security guard walk around at night. The walk isn't terrible but in the rain it could seem like an eternity. For the price you could find a crummy apt right by campus but I would much rather walk a little and come home, where I do my studying, to a much more serene atmosphere. I'll give an update after I've been here longer but so far I'd give it a 8.5/10.
