    Hi,

I'm starting on Sept. 20 at Good Samaritan. Can anyone give me some info on the rotation, hospital...? I would really appreciate it.

The previous posts are about a year old.

    Thank you

    Hello -

Just finished IM at good sam...GREAT rotation and they only take 5-6 ross students. if you can get in here and are interested in im...i highly recommend it. hours were about 7-5 and it was a bit taxing at times but i have come out of this rotation learning way more than any kaplan book could teach me and the residents and attendings are amazing. do it.

Can we do all our cores and electives in DC/Baltimore area hospital or do we have to move around? Aslo does anyone know if we get placed on these roations based on our preferences or do they place us where ever the next spot is available?

Yes you can do all your cores and electives in the Baltimore/DC Area. But if you do your cores and what not you may have to move around a bit within the Baltimore area so its not like you have to move apartments or nothing. If you want to do most of your cores and what not look into Harbor, St Agnes or Prince georges. If you want IM Good Sam by far is the BEST one! Once you do your IM core at Good Sam you can schedule whatever elective you want there, for how ever long you want. Which is good.

If you would like to stay in the area just call Ross and let them know. Once you get in the door to any of the hospitals the student coordinator there will likely hook you up once you get there. Best of luck I hope that helps

Anyone know any good places to live close to the hospital? I won't have my car and plan on walking/biking.
