    Wykoff Internal Medicine Clerkship

    Advertisements

Hello. Can anyone give me an idea of the weekly schedule at Wykoff in Queens. Namely days per week, hours each day and average on-call schedule. Also, what is an average day like at Wykoff, ie. rounds, presentations, lectures?
    Thank you very much

Not trying to sound sarcastic, but there is a wyckhoff clinical site under the Ross University Clinical sites Tab. This should have anything you need as well as people that you might pm for more info. hope this helps!

there are some reviews in the clinical section.

bottom line is, wyckoff is garbage. seems the majority of students there are from SMU and Poland, hopefully Ross is out of there completely down the road

Before residency I did most of my rotations at Wyckoff. Its in brooklyn, in a crappy area. The medicine program is not too strong. I did not do surgery there from bad reviews I heard, OB/GYN had too many students, Peds was good, Family was not too strong. If possible, try to get your self in another hospital. Or at least if your already scheduled, do your first rotation there and switch out after making arrangements. All wyckoff rotations are green book rotations. Overall experience 4/10.

From what i have heard this rotation is extremely LAX, like you are there from about 8-12, done with your work. But you have to clock out at 5 so you pretty much just "chill" around the hospital or library. It's not the greatest rotation but if you are motivated you can learn alot.

if you are motivated you should call your advisor and change your rotation
