    Doubts about medical student advisors

    Advertisements

I'm new on this website, but I'm thinking about applying through this agency called MSA(Med Student Advisors).

But I have some doubts, it's a lot of money to be paying and I don't have the means to apply myself. Has anyone applied through them and what did you think about it?

    Thanks.

Definitely go for it. They are a legit group of hardworking people that will get you to where you want to go. Check out their facebook page but yeah I knew of someone who used their services and was very thankful now.....Good Luck!

hi, I have applied to study medicine in Romania, it's my second year and I have applied through medlink students where a guy from England called Sam helped me a lot, it's true you pay money but you save yourself a lot of stress where they do everything for you. in my opinion it's better to apply through an agency. Including the help, with medlink students I felt as if I had a family here where they arrange parties every Thursday to help newcomers bind in, and they are very friendly. I encourage you to come to Romania and you will never regret it !!

I think that most of the agencies working in the former East Bloc are pretty terrible. That was what I saw first hand with my classmates when I studied there -- and I applied, was accepted, and graduated without ever contacting an agent. I would be extremely wary about trusting people's glowing reviews in this type of anonymous forum.

there are a lot of people applying through agencies without facing problems, and I am one of them. An honest agent helps a lot but my advise is that it's better to ask about the agency you are using and search about it. i applied through medlink students and it was fine.

not all agencies are the same, eventhough i heard terrible stories about some agents like keeping papers until you pay and smilar stories. but the agency i applied through turned out better than i expected. they shocked me with their honesty and fast service.

Whenever I see a post that looks/reads like a blatant advertisement for a Carib medical school or application agency, I like to read it aloud in a whiny, Sally-Struthers voice, and pretend that it is a cheesy ad on late-night television.

After a long enough shift and enough missed sleep, it is bloody hilarious.

I want to apply for admission to MD program in 2016. If you are already an international student , studying Medicine in Romania, then I will request you to send me contact of a credible Agency, which can help me with the admission process. ( The one you used yourself) .
