Um, people do not live on this forum. You kinda need to wait until someone reads your post and has something to contribute.

I am studying not in Romania, so I cannot comment on the first part other than to say that Romania is probably the least expensive EU option for both tuition and living expenses. However, deciding between Romania and Russia is pretty easy. Romania is part of the EU, which means that your diploma has automatic EU acceptance. Russia is not part of the EU, which means that EU acceptance of the diploma is not guaranteed. Now, your citizenship (Egyptian, non-EU) will mean that you cannot work in some EU/EEA countries (UK, France, Switzerland, etc.), but there are others (currently Germany, possibly Ireland although that is getting less likely, etc.) that may accept your credentials if you can speak the language there.

However, you need to recognize that the situation could be completely different in 6 years, when you graduate. There is no way to tell how things will be politically or otherwise. At any rate, though, an EU medical diploma will put you in a better situation than a non-EU medical diploma, so in that regard Romania > Russia. That does not take into consideration quality of instruction, etc., which will likely vary considerably from university to university, anyway.

Mr.devilDr , Thanks for your reply man

well what you are saying makes sense to me anyway plus the point of low cost of living in romania which is a good +ve for me

, and so I am focusing on Romanian medical schools right now , i think i've made my decision ^ ^ , having an EU diploma is in my interest for sure .

waiting for some info about living in romania and recommended med-schools , I think I will apply for constanta and victor babes anyway for now.

    Thanks again Dr

    best regards

    Dear All,
In the Published list from UMFT dot RO University website, I have seen my name in 80-90 position in Victor Babes University. I am non EU and I noticed there are only 50 Seats for Foreigners in English Medium Medical Degree for 2012-13 admission. What are my chances of securing an Admission?

Are there any things I need to do at this stage to move things in a positive way?

    Appreciate your assistance

    Thanks in advance
    Chrams
