    Help applying to Carol Davila

    Advertisements

    Hello people of ValueMD,

Last year I had to go through the process of applying to Carol Davila, and currently am a 1st year student. It can be quite the hassle to apply by yourself and get everything done in a timely manner. On the other hand, agents who work for companies can be quite costly, so I did some research and my friend in the third year recommended to me somebody that could help for less money. Getting the acceptance letter from the Ministry of Education without her would have been extremely difficult for me because a lot less people speak English here than I originally thought. If you are looking to apply for the acceptance letter from the Ministry, I'll give you her email through private message.

The facilities are decent, need some work, but right now all of Bucharest is getting a face-lift, so I'd assume that would get fixed too. I think its a nice studying environment overall, but I tend to do most of my learning by myself in my apartment. Library can get kind of crowded on some days. I don't communicate much with people here besides when I'm buying something, but I love all the people I've met in school. The application process is a bit tedious, considering you have to do everything in person. It involves going to the rectorat multiple times, along with the school.

    Hello,
I am from Canada and I want to file an application for medicine year 2012-2013. I found the list of documents to submit to the university but I want to know if I need to get them attested by the Romanian Embassy/Consulate? Can I apply directly, or need an agent?

You can apply directly, but before you apply to the school you need to be accepted by the ministry of education, saying you are allowed to study in Romania. Unless you plan on coming around a month ahead of time, as it takes 3 weeks to get it, plus a week doing everything, I'd suggest using my 'agent'. I'll send you her email through private message if you are interested.

Hi please inbox me with the details!

I am looking to go to Carol Davila this October and I have emailed and called them but haven't had much luck. Please help!

Also, I'm a little worried about going to romania for 6 years. I'm from england and I will be 28 years old when i get back!

    What's the culture like?
Is it worth it being out there or would you recommend me to try harder to study here?
Also can you work out there?
How often do you go back home to see your family?

I look forward to your reponse. Thanks a lot!

    Dear Medschool,
I am also from toronto, canada. What about you? I am studying in Constanta. We are a lot here. Bucharest was a bit difficult to get in. Plus there is a good news for you, if you are from Ontario, you can get OSAP for Constanta. 2 years ago, i got the university approved for the loans.
If you are thinking for constanta now, i will tell you whom to contact.
    Take care

Carol Davila is simple to get into... all you have to know is how to speak basic English.
