Being ECFMG certified by January, or late January, is FINE. Most students will not even be certified by then, but rather by May. So dont worry about that part.
Hi
I have a chance to do an elective in US and get a LOR by October end but that will delay my ECFMG certification and I will be get certified by late January.
Is that advisable or should I forget about the elective and try to get certified by November end.
What is more important for pediatrics? I am an IMG, going to graduate this year. I am going for the 2006 match.
