Reusing LORs from last year for MATCH 2014

    Advertisements

    Hi,

Would I be at a disadvantage for reusing LORs that were uploaded last year for this new match 2014?
Is it worth it asking for new LoRs?
Hope to get a quick reply as then I'll ask my docs this wk ...

    Thanks!

Well, unless the people writing your LORs can add something, I don't know why or how they would be any assistance. Just pay attention to the programs you are applying to. Some ask for LORs within the last 6 months. I don't know what you are doing currently. My wife is in a residency here in Germany, so all her LORs from here are updated with what she has been doing since last year when she did not match. Her stateside LORs, really could not be updated. Obviously, she updated her PS with more relevant information.

This would be my suggestion. But, again.. we have not gotten into a match. would just seem logical to me.

    Good luck
