    Can I start the residency in another time that is not july?

    Can I aply for residency outside of ERAS or the match? I remember a friend of mine did that some years ago

    what is more important step1 or step 2 grade?

    yes, but most of the good programs only match through ERAS. they will not accept applications outside of it.
    what is more important step1 or step 2 grade?
    depends on the program. a good number of them like that step 1 grade up there. but there are definately exeptions (like UTMB-galveston, they want a 90 on step 2, but don't mention any step 1 requirement). some of them will average your step 1 and step 2 grades to see about where you are at. one program i looked into said if you don't hit the 85 mark on your step 1, you need to average 90 on both of them (meaning a 95+ on step 2).

    how ca you do USA expirence?
    not sure the question here, if you're asking how much clinical experience... i know that for IM, there is a 180 page document that shows how many months of US clinical experience is required at US programs (some say none necessary, but is a plus, some say 3,6, or 12 months of experience). here is the site.

    this website also tells you what minimal scores are required for step1/step2, and it tells you how IMG friendly many programs are.
