    Lor

Does anybody know how is the procedure with the 3 LOR that any residency program require?. The professors from your medical school that write the letters: do the have to send them directly to each program director or you can deliver them by yourself?, how is the "protocol"? I'd really appreciate if anybody knows.

Either you can print out the cover letter and give it to them so they can mail the LOR with the cover letter to ERAS, or you can ask them to give the letter to you and send it your self.
Either way is fine. In the first case you will most likely wave your right to see the LOR.
Personally all my attendings gave me the letters and I'm sending them by myself. I wanted to make sure what kind of letters I got.

Thanks ERMD5, in my case I am an IMG, and I am getting LORs from my professors (from my medical school in the country where I studied)and I was wondering if besides translation of the LORs, the procedure is the same or they required to send them to ECFMG.
