    ...

Uh, it took me only a few seconds to find this on www.aa.com

    Baggage Allowance

    For flights to international destinations

2 pieces checked and one carry-on
Please note that one carry-on personal item (see "Carry-on Allowance") does not count toward the free bag allowance.

The size limitation of your luggage is calculated by adding the total outside dimensions of each bag, that is, length + width + height.

Two checked bags at 62 in/157 cm each
    One carry-on bag at 45 in/114 cm
The maximum "free" weight per checked bag is 70 lbs/32 kgs

    That's odd...their website still states 70lbs.

I'm planning an international flight via AA soon so I think I will call them.

    Thanks for the heads up!

    Info on the "Summer Embargo:"

    http://www.aa.com/content/utility/04...gEmbargo.jhtml

As far as GND goes, all it says is "more restrictive," but doesn't actually clarify. Calling AA didn't help, since they still have 2x70 + 40 carryon in their computer, but that is not the reality in PR...

or in GND. i have learned and experiences it myself that if you "pay" them a lil extra they would allow ur bags on board even if its "a bit" overweight.
