    The Summer of Recovery...

    Advertisements

    News Headlines

New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly climbed to a nine-month high last week, yet another setback to the frail economic recovery.
Unexpectedly? To whom? How many times do we have to get bad economic news before the media stops calling it 'unexpected'?

"Sales of previously owned U.S. homes dropped more steeply than expected in July to their lowest pace in 15 years, an industry group said Tuesday, implying further loss of momentum in the economic recovery."
There's that word again! Oh, we're so surprised by this data! How could home sales be dropping while unemployment rates are going up (along with everyone's taxes in January)?! Also, according to the MSM, the economic "recovery" has been "losing momentum" for months. The DOW dropped below 10K today. Unemployment is 9.6%. The artificial economic "recovery" slowed to a halt months ago.
