but remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

It seems though they were trying to meet her halfway. In the end, they only wanted a single color, which she could've easily corrected with a plain white t. I don't see this as a problem of the religion. It seems like the coordinators quickly accepted it was religious purposes and their main issue was the color coordination that was quickly fixable.

I think she's in the right. This country ensures freedom of religion. If she needs to do that to conform to the standards of her religion, they need to let it go. If anything, extra cloth will hurt you because of the drag. There is no good reason NOT to let her wear it. G

I'm going to have to disagree here. The final problem to the competition wasn't her unitard, but the multi-color being used. While it's sad that she wasn't allow to compete because of that, and a custom uniform she probably had to make/pay for herself, the multi-color I don't believe is part of her religion. It would be the same as a team from a poor school scraped some money together and bought a hodgepodge of uniforms, but were then expelled from the competition due to it. Sad, but not biased.

If they rejected her because it WAS a unitard (not the color of it), then it would be discrimination.
