Community College is 1 million times better to do premed than most of the 6year programs. You can get an AA degree and do most of the pre reqs before attending any of these schools. If anything goes wrong you will have a degree to fall back on. You can expand the degree back in the states to a ** easily. Most community colleges run minisemesters and you can go year round.

Most of the 6yr programs are only for the 6yr MD at that school. The credits are usualy not transferrable to another school. If you transfer you will have to start over.

Enterance into Community College is really easy.

    Good Luck

If you notice (I have since I went to one) Most of the students have been pushed into it by Parents! If they would stay in the states and start a real education they may or may not go to med school. I don't understand the horror of not going to med school if it is something they do not embrace! I have three teenage kids and all I have told them is college. Don't care what you do but with out a degree your life will be so hard, study now and get one in something, it will never let you down and it can't be taken away!
