    Orientation Information

    Advertisements

    Hey guys,

Today, I got an email detailing the activites of orientation week. Is this email getting around to others who interview in December? Along the same line, has anyone heard any word with regards to the final acceptance letter? I called the NY office mid last week and was told to just be expecting it (no specific date).

    Have a great weekend

I made this point earlier in a different threat but I'll just mention it again as a warning to any students of the 4 year English program. When we started in our first year, the first week of class was only Polish lessons for non-Polish speakers. Students who spoke Polish could have had an extra week to stay at home, travel or do whatever they wanted, but instead were caught off guard by the lack of information we had with regards to the schedule. If you speak Polish and would rather spend that week doing something better with your time that sitting around Poznan (unless you're a real keener and want to hit the books and get a jump start on things) I would check with the Dean's office to see if they can give you a heads up on the schedule - but don't be surprised if they don't as scheduling is something they have many problems with here.

I got the e-mail about orientation too...can't wait!

Were you guys able to submit your undergrad diplomas then? Or did they say they were sending out the letters reguardless of this detail?

Glad to finally get some info from them!

Yes, I did submit a copy of my undergrad diploma. Are you having trouble with getting a copy or degree certification?

Woot! Lets just hope there isn't as much delay with this letter as there was with the last one. I graduated last year so I have my diploma at hand already.

    omghi2upixplz. Sorry, couldn't resist that.

You could ask your Dean for a letter stating that you're currently in good standing with the University and have completed/will soon complete the course requirements for your degree. Don't know if it'll do the trick, but it might be worth trying.
