    Renal Concepts plz add something

    whoever is studying renal I would kindly like to ask you all to write down one concept that you all think is important. Or try to add on to the concept that is being asked about. Or even ask some tricky question. Thanks

    Okay someone want to tell me what happens to GFR when the sympathetic system is activated.

    What happens to the GFR and FF if you have constriction of the efferent artery?

    And what diseases or conditions can cause that?

    constriction of efferent= Increase in GFR and Increase in FF

    In my notes i have written during pregnancy GFR increase, i think FF also increase.
    What about a urethral obstruction?

    What happens to those values in CHF? What about Nephrotic syndrome?

    easy renal Q (but important)

    K secretion by distal tubules will be decreased by:

    A. metabolic alkalosis
    B. a high k+ diet
    C. spironolactone administration
    D. thiazide administration
    E. hyperaldosteronism
